I am so thankful he got the teacher that he did. They mix really well. Sarah is still loving her daycare, they have a pre-k program so she is officially a duck now. She loves being in the big kid class. Other then just being really busy not much else is going on. update

So it's been a long time since I've written anything. Life is good, just extremly busy. The kids started a new daycare in February. They absolutely love it. Sarah's class does a preschool program every day and she loves the fact that she gets to learn. She loves playing with the kids her own age. Taylor is doing well, he likes the after school program at the daycare as well. It's a nice Christian-based daycare so that makes it a lot easier to take the kids there.
Brian is doing well. He's so very smart, the other day, he taught me (more showed me) how to change the breaks on the van. He's very smart in so many things. It amazes me how smart and knowledgable he is. He know so much from computers, to gardining, mechanics, and home improvments, plus many more. Taylor just thinks it's so awesome how much daddy knows, he always wants to help him, and learn from him.
I am doing well, still trying to balance working and being a mom, and wife and everything else. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. My job is a good job, busy and crazy but good. It's really nice when you get the calls and you know that you helped that person and they appreciate it. If you don't know yet, I've been working for Verizon Wireless in their Customer Care department since September 15, 2008.
I really miss being at home, but I know that this is what I need to be doing right now. It's been nice to have the support from my husband while I've been going to work, and he helps me out so much. I really appreciate everything he does.

No School, My totally awesome husband

So I have a totally AWESOME husband! Besides the fact that he's the love of my life and my best friend. He's a great guy because he's such a loving understanding caring man. He's helped out so much since I started back at work. I know it probably hasn't been easy for him to have to do pretty much everything for him and the kids. I don't get off of work untill 9pm so he picks the kids up from daycare and feeds them, bathes them and puts them to bed. All I get to do is peek on them and give them a kiss before I go to bed. I really do appreciate everything he does for me and our little family. So for Christmas I got him a new computer because he desevedit and I knew it was something that he would enjoy :) He as well decided to spoil me and I got a brand new TV for my Christmas present, we've already put it up and it's awesome :) I'm really loving the flat screen in my tiny living room it's really nice. Thanks so much to my AWESOME! husband. I realy do love him for all that he does.

Don't you wish sometimes that you were in school, just so you could have a snow day? I was sleeping very nicely this morning and at 5:30 AM I got a phone call l still have to go to work because etting me know that school was closed do to all the lovely ice we got last night. Which by the way I got to drive home in from work, that was a lot of fun the ice was so thick on the windows, it was very interesting. I was happy to hear that school was out so my kids could stay home and be safe. I will atill have to go to work but Brian my totally AWESOME husband will get off of work early to stay home with our beautiful children. I really wish I was in school just so I didn't have to go today lol.

Snow

So today is the first real snow here in Lincoln and I officially HATE snow! I don't like driving in it, I don't like walking in it, and I don't like how cold it is. I really am a chicken when it comes to snow. and the worst thing is I have to go to work. And I have to drive there. hmmmmmmmm maybe I'll call my daddy and have him drop me off lol. Ahh well, I guess I'll drive and hopefully make it there in one piece, nice and warm with all of my fingers and toes. Well frost bite does happen. Just not a lot here in Nebraska. Tomorrow is my day off and Brian and I are supposed to go Christmas shopping for the kids. Guess who's driving? (not me!) Ok so I really am acting like a baby, maybe I'll just move to Arizona or Georgia. NO really!!!!
Anyways, things here are going well, just busy with Christmas shopping and trying to get everything done before the Holiday is here. I really am a big procrastinator when it comes to Christmas shopping. I promise I will get pictures up here soon. HOpe you all have a good day.

Eagle Scout

So last night we went up to the church to honor my brother Aubrey Adam Gerlach for getting his Eagle Scout. We are all so very proud of Aubrey. It's been so neat to see him strive to get his Eagle Scout. He's such a very sweet boy and wants to help anyone out that he can. Nathaniel got to stand up there and welcome him as an Eagle scout beings he got his in 2005. :) I'm so proud of my brothers for being Eagle Scouts, it's a privlage to be around them knowing that they are both very wonderful men. :) Aubrey will be 18 here at the end of the month, I can't believe it. I remember the day he was born, and the day my mom found out that she was pregnant with him :) I also can't believe that Nate is 22 man I'm starting to feel old. :)
Our whole family was able to be there except Sheena's husband Jake who was really sick. It was nice to see how many people turned up there to honor him. There was many people I didn't know but many I did. Craig Reinsch was the MC at the ceremony, Nate Habel showed up which ment a lot to my family beings his parents weren't able to be there, also President and Sister Tanner, the Tripps, the Layborns, and many others. It was just nice to see everyone there.
Now we just have to wait for Aaram who's 12 to get his Eagle Scout and then the next boy after Aaram will be my Taylor (man I don't want to be THAT old yet lol) But I can't wait to be the mommy that's getting her pin for her son being an Eagle Scout.
Speaking of which, it was neat to see my mom wear her little ribbon with all of my brother's pins on it. I don't think she has much more room on it lol. Iwas so excited for my parents, they were really proud of Aubrey as we all are. Congrats Aubrey Adam on this wonderful accomplishment.

Hello All

Ok so I started this new blog and haven't really done much with it yet. I guess I'll let you all know what's going on with our little family.
Brian and I are doing well :) We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on November 20th this year. Life is good.
I got a job back in September, I work for Verizon Wireless as a Customer Service Rep in the call center here in Lincoln. It's a pretty good job, I do enjoy it. The hours are a little crazy right now, I work pm-9pm but hopefully in a couple of weeks my schedule will change. :)
The kids are adjusting well. Taylor is in Kindergarten this year, and absolutely loves all of his friends and his teacher. He is such a smart little boy. It's so nice to hear him talk about all of the things he learned that day in school. He's even starting to learn to spell words now. I can't believe he's already 5 and in school now :)
Sarah is doing well, we were lucky to be able to put her in the daycare that her cousin Devin goes to, so she has someone there she knows and can play with even if he's only 7 months. She does pretty good at daycare after I leave. We are still having crying time in the morning when I get ready to leave the daycare. (both mommy and sarah cry, mommy waits untill she's left though)
Life really is good just very busy. Our Holidays are going well. We got to go up to West Point for thnaksgiving, it was fun except both mommy and daddy got sick so we left early..
I hope you and your families are doing well.
